API 5L X52 pipe, also known as L360 pipe, is named after
the minimum yield strength of 52 Ksi (360 Mpa). It is a medium grade
according to API 5L and ISO
3183 specifications, and it is used for oil and gas pipeline transmissions.
The American Petroleum Institute standard API 5L applies to both seamless and
welded steel line pipes. This is steel pipe used in the petroleum and
natural gas industries for pipeline transportation systems
